The CLMA invites you to virtually join the official launch of #CanadaIsLiveMusic on Wednesday, March 19th at 2pm ET.
Attend to learn how you can help to amplify and expand the impact of Canada’s live music industry in the face of great change and even greater opportunity. The discussion, led by CLMA President & CEO Erin Benjamin, will include a walk-through of key data points and recommendations from the CLMA’s recently released Hear and Now economic impact study, as well as a look at the campaign’s assets and how to use them.

About the Presenters:
Natalie Lowe, Founder of The Sustainable Events Forum
Natalie is the recipient of numerous awards for her work in reducing the ecological impact of events of all sizes and types. She is in the Canadian Meetings & Events Hall of fame and is the founder of The Sustainable Events Forum. Her goal is to help as many people as possible to become knowledgeable and effective climate advocates.
Melissa Radu, Executive Director at Destination Stewardship
As Executive Director of Destination Stewardship, Melissa provides strategic leadership and visioning of their Tourism Master Plan, taking the 10-year strategy from paper to reality. This work is focused on destination growth and development with the goal of respecting, supporting, and improving the local and global environments.
Marie Zimmerman, Director of Projects and Partnerships at Regional Tourism Organization 4 (RTO4)
Marie Zimmerman is one of the founding members of the Guelph Fab 5, a collective of local arts festivals. She has a passion for the tourism industry as well as for sustainability, education, and arts and culture, which she brings to her new role as Director of Projects and Partnerships with Regional Tourism Organization 4 (RTO4). In 2024, she was honoured with a Woman of Distinction Award for her changemaking work.

Emily Lindahl, Senior Manager Sustainability at GOAL & OVG
Emily Lindahl is the Senior Manager of Sustainability at Oak View Group and GOAL. She works with GOAL Members to develop and evolve their unique sustainability platforms, goals, and action plans. She also works with members to effectively communicate on sustainability and activate their work.
