The CLMA is proud to announce a new partnership with KOJO Institute, who have developed "Foundations of Equity", their new and powerful online training course.
This training establishes company-wide clarity, direction, and alignment among staff and leaders about how to achieve equitable outcomes utilizing the frameworks of anti-racism, anti-oppression, anti-colonialism, and anti-Black racism.
Participants can expect to:
Develop critical self-reflection skills related to power, privilege and oppression;
Recognize frameworks (e.g., anti-oppression, diversity, anti-racism) for achieving equity and the relationship between commonly named frameworks and equitable outcomes;
Recognize current and relevant concepts and issues around marginalization and inequity;
Identify how institutions can work towards equitable outcomes; and
Learn best practices for addressing marginalization and inequity.

Scheduling and Time Commitment:
The Foundations of Equity training is comprised of 7 modules and is accompanied with a reflection journal. Each module is 25-30 minutes in duration. The course will take approximately 3.25 hours to view in total with additional time required to complete the reflection journal.

CLMA Member Fee: $100 (all in) per person
Non-Member Fee: $250 (all in) per person
