Part 1: Your Journey Through Indigenous Canada
This consists of five online modules that focus on the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples of Canada, the history of Indigenous peoples, and their relationship with European settlers, the British Crown, and the Dominion of Canada.

Part 2: Building Indigenous Intercultural Capacity
This course consists of four 90 minute sessions taking place in a virtual classroom. The recommended class size is 20 people, however groups of 15 - 30 can be accommodated.
Topics include defining race, racism, culture; challenging stereotypes; understanding affinity/ unconscious/ cultural bias; and how to become inter-culturally intelligent.
What makes each course unique?

Part 1: Your Journey Through Indigenous Canada
Online (video- based, 4-5 hours).
Modules are available on-demand and can be completed at your own pace.
Part 2: Building Indigenous Intercultural Capacity
Virtual classroom (5-6 hours spread over four sessions)
Virtual Classroom: an online learning environment in which students and teachers interact using online platforms and tools. A virtual classroom holds real-time lessons remotely while offering similar collaborative tools and levels of interaction possible in an in-person workshop.

Part 2: Building Indigenous Intercultural Capacity
Yes, all participants must complete The Path: Your Journey Through Indigenous Canada prior to participating in this course.

This course focuses on history, treaties, Indigenous rights, and Indigenous worldviews
Part 2: Building Indigenous Intercultural Capacity
This course focuses on unconscious and cultural bias, anti- racism, addressing stereotypes, and becoming inter-culturally competent.

Upon successfully completing each course, participants will receive a digital certificate.
