CLMA's 2025 Annual General Meeting Highlights, Introducing New Board
September 23, Ottawa - The Canadian Live Music Association (CLMA) celebrated its 11th year at its Annual General Meeting on September 23rd.
During the meeting, the CLMA shared its 2024-25 Annual Report, reviewing operations and activities over the past year and highlighting priorities for 2025-26.

The Canadian Live Music Association (CLMA) and its members have always been wholly supportive of Canadian music creators being paid for their work. Members comply with Copyright Board tariff obligations, including the payment of SOCAN license fees as required, to value and respect the creators who make live music possible.

The Canadian Live Music Association announces grant recipients of 'Setting the Stage' pilot program sponsored by RBC
In celebration of its 10th anniversary, the Canadian Live Music Association (CLMA) is pleased to announce the recipients of Setting the Stage, sponsored by RBC. Setting the Stage is a pilot program that provides micro grants to independent live music venues, promoters, and festivals, to support live performance and direct mentorship of local, emerging artists.

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, the Canadian Live Music Association (CLMA) is pleased to announce the launch of Setting the Stage, sponsored by RBC. Setting the Stage is a pilot program that will provide up to 10 micro grants of up to $3000 CAD each to CLMA members who are independent live music venues, promoters, or festivals, to support (at least) one live performance and direct mentorship of a local, emerging artist(s).
